a stackable, interchangeable decoration piece

For this small-scale object, digital and manual fabrication methods and processes were used to work with natural material from a salvaged wooden slab cut down from a fallen tree at UVA. The transformation of the piece leverages natural material properties and irregularities to create something playful and dynamic, bringing new life and function to a discarded piece of wood.
